Dream theater has wierd lyrics
I'm listening to one of my Pandora radio stations, and every time a dream theater song comes up, the following events happen: I listen to the opening riff and think 'this is pretty cool.' Then the lyrics kick in, and I go 'wait, what the fuck am I listening to?' I check the song, see it's dream theater, and go 'Oh, ok. Now it makes sense.'
Why are they so so so angsty? It's still listenable, but sometimes they make Linkin Park sound upbeat. Still, their instrumentals make it worthwhile.
