Quick update
I had my first Skype interview tonight. It was with a congregation in NJ, where I admit I have never yearned to live and work. But they seemed really nice. I have another with a place in Northern CA on Sunday evening, so I am feeling pretty good about picking up the technology. $9.99 on the webcam and a certain amount of agita in getting it to work yesterday.
Last night was writers' group and I already posted the results of that. (Did you see Devo's amazing responsum poem?)
Tomorrow is a funeral and a chiropractic adjustment, thank fuck. Mom is still in the hospital with congestive heart failure and infected bedsores (which came about because she wouldn't get off her ass). Join me in the chorus: thank goodness for lost weight and regular exercise. The contractor showed today and ripped out all the shower tile and the shower doors. Joy. I have a cold and started coughing at 8 pm last night. Grumble. Zinc & vitamin C seem to be helping lots and lots. yay!
