Gray and overcast but a nice walk around the shops with my mother in her scooter. I will have black and blue ankles when we're done, I can tell you. Thank GOD she never drove in her life.
She bought me some very lovely diamond and peridot (my birthstone) earrings. I passed on the matching bracelet. I pointed out that they don't need to buy me presents just for coming along and hauling the bags, etc. Although the earrings ARE nice. :-)
Parents have been pretty good, although Dad is hoarse and a touch sick. I have been pumping him full of Vitamin C, so we will see what happens.
Tomorrow is St Maarten and I believe I may gift myself with the beach bash package - a lounge chair, transport and all the fruity rum punch I can drink. Sounds like an afternoon to me!
Heard from one job possiblity, just letting me know they have the resume and will get back to me after the 1st. Things progress.
