peanut butter and banana. That was my staple for the first 2 days of the banana orgy. It's really hard to get bread to stay edible here, though, so that quickly became soda crackers with peanut butter and banana on top. That got old fast. I have one more monster load of banana bread to make tomorrow and then I will have eaten or given away all the bananas!
The plethora of papayas coming next week is going to be more difficult...
btw. economics question for you... with yesterdays job numbers leading to increased speculation of a US recession, how do you see that as effecting the safety of land investments versus securities? I'm intuiting that there is much less room for fluctuation in land values over a ten year timeframe than in securities that I'm likely to try and play with (and lose money at) if the market tanks.
This is related to my last post, of course...
Seem a good time to you to get locked into solid assets rather than securities?
Interesting thoughts, thanks. I'm curious as to your prediction on the dollar not continuing it's free fall versus the euro, though. Some of my investments are, in fact, predicated on a continuing weakened dollar. In particular, I'm worried about a foreign debt fund that I originally got into as a bet against the US dollar. In fact, it's that money that I'm thinking of using to fund the Vieques land investment ideas. Good things to think about, thanks.
Glad you're feeling better on the meds.
