I think i am getting done with the Feminist movement.
Dylan sends me these posts from the
feminist community, and i have never heard so many bitter angry spiteful women in all my life.
Men don't suppress women... there is NO Patriarchy.
There are plenty of rich women who oppress poor men as well as other women.
All oppression is essentially class oppression. The rich elites, which includes a lot of rich female eliteists, oppress everyone else.
Women are as guilty as men of the insane body images they think they are forced to have. They buy the clothes, they buy the magazines, just as much as men do.
There are now as many female designers as men and i am sure most of the gay male designers (there seem to be quite lot of them. hah hah) dont really care what women look like as long as they can sell their designs to the buyers.
And when a woman posts that she doesn't give a rat's knuckle about the oppression of men because
a) all men oppress women anyway or
b) who cares about them or their problems.
i really want to slap her!
You selfish
!@#$! There are people really suffering in this society from true poverty, men women and children. Yet you, in your comfortable middle class house, with your nice high speed internet are so obessed about your own perceived victimhood that you don't care about all the REAL suffering in the world, because it might mean some sympathy for some poor man who is homeless, or trying to bring up his children on his own without any help.
As a somewhat fem/androgyous gay male, i know quite a lot about discrimination. But i refuse to be a fucking victim.
If you feminist women want to improve your status in society, try getting politically active and working to elect politicians (of either gender!) who will work towards stopping the oppression of ALL people in our society: POCs, GLBT, but especially the poorest of us who are truly the most oppressed of all!
Hillary Clinton has a really good chance of being our next president. I am not sure yet if she is my first choice, but I still think that she would make a fabulous president. I certainly dont include her, though, among the oppressed in our society.
