field trip!
this friday...december 23...field trip to lake lanier islands for the magical nights of lights.
it's $25.00 per carload, so the cost will depend on how many people are going. if only five people go, it'll be $5.00 each, but if ten people go, the cost will only be $2.50...
i need to know ASAP (before thursday) who wants to go so i can give everyone an accurate estimate of how much it will cost (so parents will know how much to give)...
adults (my mom for sure...paige probably...and whoever else wants to go) will be going and driving, so those of you that can't go anywhere without adults should be able to go.
we will be eating dinner, too, so bring money for yourself. we might eat on the road, or wait until we get there and just eat at the lake.
it takes about an hour and 15 minutes to get there, but we will have to deal with traffic in atlanta, so we should plan for it to take two hours.
with that said, a TENTATIVE time to meet at THE CHURCH will be 4:00...which will *hopefully* put us there at or before 6:00...
we can eat and shop and look around and be done by 8:00, drive through the lights (which will probably take an hour) and we'll be on the road back home by 9:30 at the latest, putting us back in conyers by 10:30.
let your parents know ASAP...
i will post any time changes or whatnot on here if need be, and i'll also post any changing prices.
