I will be back in Iowa next Thursday. Crazy. It's not too cold up there...is it?
Anyway things have been utterly fantastic here, after 19 years of being a shut in having gobs of people all around you is amazing, truth be told. Everyone here skews geek too, its scary.
Just the other night I was off to the library to play a little online Mario Kart (My friend code is 395198240517), when I ran into someone else doing the same thing. We talked for like an hour, then headed off to the mall to catch a movie.
Afterwards I went manga shopping with him and ended up dropping close to a hundred dollars O_o oops. Bought the entire Trigun series though, and Peach Fuzz! Which I was amazed to discover in such a rickety book shop.
I'm currently 3/4ths of the way through Peach Fuzz and I have to say that my testicles dissapear a tad bit more with each turn of the page. It's so utterly adorable though, I can't help but press on. (Having once owned multiple ferrets some of the jokes had me laughing a bit too hard)
Anyway that's about all for now. Class is going great, I'm currently ranked third with a 95% percent, much to my classmates ire seeings as I haven't studied one minute through the entire course and can more often than not be found sleeping during the lectures. The higher I score, the more likely I am to be stationed at Offut AFB in Omaha, for phase 2 medical training. So heres to hoping.
