Jimmy...I never know what to say. Which you probably expect, considering that you did write this for YOU, not me, but whenever I read stuff like this I feel this pressure behind my ribs and it moves into my gut and I just want everything to be good for you. This change is a good change

You know, I'm terribly glad that you've not left yet for the military like I’d thought you had a few weeks ago. You provide a lot of the "serious hilarity" (I tend to contradict myself like this often :p), in my life that nobody else I know has the ability to do. Knowing how life is for you in real life though, I can't help but feel a mixture of happiness and a thousand wishes for your own increased contentment when you leave mingled with the opposite of all that for the same reason. In the end, it's always what's best for you that decides it anyways and it's not like you'll be gone for forever, though it may be a very very long time. I don't waste much time feeling sorry for your predicament at home, and I can say that honestly, but instead spend my time appreciating your wit, wry optimism, and good heart. (I know its in there, never mind the occasional ravings about those crazy mofo’s from DC ( ... )
