My first final is tomorrow. Stat Methods 2. Did I study today? No. Did I stay up until nearly 4 playing video games instead? You bet. And it's all because I don't give a shit.
That's right, for the first time in my entire life I don't give a fuck about my grades. My UCF GPA will not be affected by my marks this semester. My acceptance into UT is not conditional upon my passing my current courses. I am free from any benefit or detriment resulting from any grade received in any one course. Now sure, I'll still study some tomorrow before the final, and I'll study for the others too... but this I'll do because I need to know the stuff for grad school, and why not study while I'm supposed to instead of on my own later. But if grades come back and I have Fs, whoopadee-freakin-doo.
