Have you ever gotten to the point in your life where you try to figure out what your going to do with your life? I am at that point right now. I just started college and it's cool and everything and my jobs not that bad. I am not saying I have a bad life, but I just feel I should be doing something with it. I don't have a girlfriend, which sucks and it doesn't at the sametime. I feel I am not supposed to have a girlfriend really. No matter how nice I am to the girls I fall for, I am just their best friend. Maybe I just don't have what it takes to be someones boyfriend or maybe I am just such a loser I am not worthy of being any girls boyfriend. Which kind of sucks. I like having bestfriends, but a relationship is cool if not better. To have someone you love greatly love you back is the best part of it. I am beginning to ask myself if I am ever going to feel that again. The only thing about that left I can say is those famous words "don't worry it'll happen, you just have to wait for the right time, but it'll happen." I am also trying to get my shit together for the band that Colin, Shawn, and myself are starting. I am not sure what it'll be like, but it'll be fun and new to us whatever it is. We have had talks about the way we're writting songs and where we'll be playing. Colin used to be in a band called Thompson Cross Section. They used to play Philly all the time with Folly and some other big acts in clubs and churches. He has the same ideas about playing shows as I do, which is sweet. I can't wait until we get that started. There's a Dillinger Escape Plan, Everytime I Die, and Misery Signals show coming up. I can't miss that. All those bands are amazing. I met the singer of Misery Signals in the crowd at Hellfest, he was a super cool dude. We have a video of them we did on the site, it's awsome. I have also heard the new Converge, Hot Water Music, and some of the new Jimmy Eat World record. The new Converge- "You Fail Me" is amazing. There is no way you can't like that record. Hot Water Music- "The New What Next", it's not bad so far, I have heard it once through, but I want to hear it a few more times before I say it's really good. The Jimmy Eat World- "Futures" album, I have heard 6 tracks out of 11. The song "23" is really amazing. The rest of the record is really good but it's not going to be a commercial success. The songs aren't all poppy like the "Bleed American" album. Reggie and the Full Effect is writting a new album I am wondering if it's going to be better then "Under The Tray". "Under the Tray" isn't a bad album, but it's just not their best work. Well I am all talked out it's been a while since I updated my journal and wrote this much in it.
