I saw a protest yesterday against Bush and I realized how much I love this country. But at the same time it made me sad. Americans don't realize what they have. The reason it made me realize I love this country is because our citizens can go out there and protest against their political leaders without fear. Their businesses, families, and lives are not in danger simply because they have an opinion and voice it. So many other places in the world, if someone was like "Fuck the president" they would be killed and there is not a damn thing anyone could do about it. But the reason is made me sad is because people take for granted the fact that they have the freedoms they do. People say they are moving out of the country because Bush is in office...I say, get packing. I supported Bush during the election and I support him now that he is President again. I would have done the same if Kerry had been elected. Even if I don't see eye to eye with him, I would look for reasons to support him. I think it is important that America stops acting like children and start appreciating what we have.
Not trying to piss anyone off or explain my view on all the important issues. If you really want to know, all you gotta do is ask. This was just something I felt the need to say.
And while I heart Bush, there was girl at the protest with a sign that said "The only Bush I trust is mine!" and I thought it was effing hilarious.
PS. It soooo cold outside!!! What the hell? I was wearing flip flops three days ago.
