Just got back from another round with Dragon Lady, the orthodontist from hell.  I'm getting my braces off in two months, thank god.  I hate those people so much.  So.  Much.  They're horrible.  They made boring, annoying small talk, and they play bad bad music and all their walls are beige and I hate them, I hate them.  Two months.  Two months.

The last time I went to the dentist, I watched The Godfather...all of it. Four cavities and two extractions.

She gave me a thong. A THONG. The woman's 42. I don't even WEAR thongs.

They let you watch a movie? What kind of swanky, high-class dentist is this? I just get annoying small-talk.

The kind of dentist where they leave you sitting for two hours and have to give you more lidocaine because the first two injections wore off while you were sitting there waiting for them.

It's a big denitist. All the rooms have TVs, with cable. But, that's about as close to class as it gets. Frankly I'd rather watch TV than talk to somebody about something pointless. Why they try to make conversation with you while their hand is in your mouth is beyond me.

Is your Mom like the Mom of that kid in the clinic who tried to convince House he was in love with Cows?

No, she's the kind of mom with tattoos and piercings who's way cooler and has more friends than me.

Half the time they're not even talking to me, they're talking to each other. Which is better, I guess, but I now know way more about these ladies' personal lives than I'm comfortable with.
