fitter, happier, more productive, comfortable, not drinking too much

sometimes when i talk about my habits, namely running, i realize that i'm a bit insane.

i discovered this when i was talking to a friend yesterday and i said something along the lines of: "well i haven't ran in about 6 days, so i am pretty out of shape" this was referring to the 4 miles in 30 minutes pace i had just finished.

also i've been tracking my runs in an app called "endomondo" which helps me figure out if i am in fact improving at all. turns out i am. although my personal best 5K is 23:00? it's hard not to look at my times and think of how i preform on race day. i'm generally 25% faster when competing against real life people.

because in the end everything i do is going to come down to a number.
i'm insane, thanks brain.
