I'm placing the 1000 words on hold, so i can create art work for ConQuest. Will get back to them as soon as i can. I did not do eith art this past week end. Instead i went to OKRF and enjoyed the hell out of it. Here is my tails ( Read more... )

I was so pleased to see your and your parents in our audience! I'm glad that you enjoyed OKRF, too. As we had the chance to talk about it, it was good to see that the cheer of OKRF is contagious. :-)

As I stated to you in person, it is that kind of environment that made me realize what I had been missing as a renfaire performer for many years. When it ceased being as much fun, I lost the drive to push myself to perform at our home faire. Doing the SSAM/security thing seemed a better fit for me at the time. Fortunately, performing with the LMC has brought back the fun in performing that I did miss so much. OKRF has helped rekindle that desire to have fun on stage, entertaining people, and it makes me glad that I get to perform with the LMC in the Smoker at KCRF as well. But, I suppose that is enough about me...

It makes me really pleased that you enjoyed your visit to OKRF, and the LMC helped contribute to you enjoying the faire day! Thanks for coming to see our shows! :-D

My pleasure. OKRF was a really good time, one that i really hope goes on for a very long time. I am in the middle of writing a email to Jeff the owner, telling him all the good i saw...

purpledumbass pointed me this way. So incredibly glad you had a good time! I started at TRF *mumblemumble* years ago, and when I moved to Oklahoma I worried what the faire would be like, but the cast and owners of OKRF have been incredibly welcoming. I playtroned until my son was old enough to come play, too, and this is my third year on cast. I'm so glad you intend to come out again sometime. I hope you'll come say hi if you do!

And thank you from Queen's Gambit and myself. OKRF is my home faire. I started there under the King's tutelage (he was street entertainment director for many years) in 2001, and haven't missed a weekend since. Hope to see you there again!

it really was good to see you and hear you sing. I don't normally get to hear music out at fair like i use to. So i enjoyed hearing the music.....
