my mood
I feel like I have a lot to say about this last election but I feel like there are too many thoughts and feelings to get them out in any useful way right now. I don't think there is much value in being snarky or mean spirited now .
I expected the worse, so I was pleased to find that the Democrats will not have an automatic filibuster proof majority in the Senate. Further more I was more than pleasantly surprised that California voted to keep the definition of marriage as being between one man and one woman. I suspect it was a gut feeling decision for most voters, which generally I think is not the best way to decide such things, but in this case I'm happy with the results.
I hope today is better than yesterday. I was exhausted yesterday, had a sinus headache, was feeling down. Even something that I though would cheer me up, was oddly .... not what I expected. Maybe it was just an off day.
