so, the new school thing is going pretty well. im still getting used to dorm life, but i lucked-out in getting my room. i am in a very quiet dorm on the best side of campus with neighbors that would be my friends even if they weren't neighbors.

and because i still have no idea what i want to do with myself, i am again taking an interdisciplinary mix of courses ranging from social development and labor markets in RESD to radical design in CompSci. the classes are very laid back, mostly discussion based, but extremely time consuming. hard to imagine the combination of laid-back and time consuming, but it's just chill, self-motivated exploration guided by (from what i judge so far) brilliant professors who are working in a university instead of a high paying job because they still want to be immersed in an academic environment. the radical design course (http://www.cs.uml.edu/radical-design/) is itself an expirement of the 3 professors co-teaching it.

makes me feel a little fake. i am here not because i think i'm a scholar, but because they made it a good deal economically, and i didn't want to get a job and start participating in the real world quite yet. i can honestly say though, that this is the first time i have done all the readings for two different classes in the same week - ever. there may be hope for me. check back in december.
