It's clobbering time!
havent updated in a while.
About a week ago. My friend tom called me around 12PM to ask if i wanted to go on a trip with him and his folks
to surfers paradise; a tourist area of queensland which his grandparents inhabit.
If wanted to come we had to leave around 8 the following morning. I said yes.
Despite a complete lack of proper packing on my behalf (i had about half the clothes i needed)
It was a pretty fun week. We mostly concerned ourselfs with fun tacky touristy things. Minigolf anyone?
We didnt really know anyone around the area, though by coincidence we ran into a strange character from
toms school by the name of dan. Or; handsome dan the ladies man. And yes if youv'e seen dan you would immediately recognise
the irony of that self inflicted title. How do i get to meet all these wierd folks?
We did some shopping and i managed to procure some much needed shorts. (by this stage my jeans could probably walk themselves) and tom got some $2 sandals. Yes, thats $1 worth of shoe on each foot. Yes, they are the most disgusting things i've ever seen :)
We managed to see war of the worlds and Fantastic 4 during the week.
War of the worlds was quite good though tom cruise kept on hugging dakota fanning a little too hard for my liking. Fantastic 4 was pretty horrible despite jessica alba's hotness. In my mind when the rock guy shouts "its clobbering time" he should start masturbating viciously.
But that's just me.
Apparently quentin tarantino has recently been seen going out with some meaty black chick. I quite like that. Meaty black chicks are excellent.
Oh yeah. We heard about the bombings in britain a few days into the trip. On the news they where interviewing a man who had just gotten off the subway after the attack and was obviously suffering from shock. He kept on talking about the bodies and blood. Said he pitied the terrorists. It was very disturbing to watch. My condolences to anyone who was affected by the bombings.
