Another Christmas gone by. I suppose it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Heard a hilarious story about my mom's uncle and cousin that I'll have to share some time. Ya know how they say every family has a drunk uncle? Well...it's this one. I swear it sounds like some hick family thing that you'd see on an episode of Cops. *shakes head*
Lesse. What'd I get this year.
From my grandpa: $100 cash and a $1,000 savings bond.
Aunt and Uncle: $30 (and I already posted what I got from my OTHER aunt and uncle)
Mom and Dad:
CD's
: No Pads, No Helmets, Just Balls - Simple Plan. (I had the CD burnt, but now I actually have it from a store!)
: Ocean Avenue - Yellowcard
: North - Something Corporate
: Greatest Hits - The Monkees (LOL! Definitely wasn't expecting that one! But I love it!)
: Waiting for my Rocket to Come - Jason Mraz
: Little Cowpoke - The Nickel Creek Band
: Long Black Train - Josh Turner (got it a long time ago, but thought I'd list it anyways)
DVD's
: Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (Extended Edition)
: A Big Package For You - A Simple Plan DVD
: All I Want - It's an Elijah Wood movie. Haven't a clue what it's about, though.
Books
: The Kurt Busch one (Something about Young Guns. Don't have it handy for the exact title) that I've already read. I read it all today while the family was over.
: Lucky Man - Michael J. Fox book
: Daddy's Little Girl - by Mary Higgins Clark (she's one of my favorites!)
: Where Are the Children - by Mary Higgins Clark
NASCAR stuff
: Kurt Busch coffee mug (LOL!)
: Kurt Busch blanket
: Kurt Busch magnets (because we need something besides Dale Jr. on the fridge!)
: NASCAR link for my braclet (it just says NASCAR and it's colored. I already have a 97, 41, and 42.)
And I think that's all. Not sure though. Oh yeah...and we just might be getting a Playstation 2 in a few weeks. My dad wants it because we went over to my aunt and uncle's tonight (where we were last night) because they got a steering wheel thing and the NASCAR 2004 game. It was pretty cool. I wouldn't mind getting one.
Oh yes...and my mom loved her ring! Yay. Now I'm trying to con her into giving me the little ring that she wears next to her wedding ring now. It was the promise ring that my dad gave her, but she can't wear it with her new rings. They're too big. It's an adorable little ring and I want it ;)
