Babysitting and math homework helping has me two days behind, so I'm gonna do two-for-one here. Of course it does not help that there was some sort of all-night "hey, we''re gonna be upgrading your internet/phone software right when you were about to hit [Post Entry] on this" thing going on last night too. And now I'm about to leave again (impromptu not-wedding marriage ceremony), so I need to go ahead and get this up so when I get back (hopefully before tomorrow) get caught up again.

Sights!
I found this immediately after I posted my HP fanart post. I would have edited it in there, but it was late/early and I'd already thrown enough pictures under that cut. So, Lucy Kinsey did this thing. Basically, what this is a
graphic (as in pictoral, not "cover your eyes!") summary of each of the 8 HP movies. I guess she drew a few a while back and was selling them, then got slammed with a Cease and Desist. But she liked the idea so much, she kept doing them and now all of the images, plus a bonus super-large "Sumharry" image are available for download so you can print them out yourself. They're pretty big (11x17, I think) but they're really cool.
I love all of the tiny details. My favorite image of them all is the Snape reacting to being told he has to teach Harry Occlumancy in The Order of The Phoenix. Other highlights include Hermione fighting off Mcaggen at the Slug Club Christmas party, Snape's reaction to catching Harry Sectumsemra-ing Draco, the last line in the Half-Blood Prince image, Snape's first line in The Deathly Hallows (I sense a pattern here), "Stone Cold" DH2 Voldemort and the final Snape reveal. Everything's there. Not only just the major events, but things I'd forgotten about. Some of the stuff I still don't remember. You can (and most definitely should)
view them all here, and then go
here to download printable versions. I need a printer.
Sounds!
Okay, so R.Kelly once made this horrible epic-length song thingy called "Trapped in the Closet". I have never heard it, because R.Kelly has not been cool since I was in the 12th grade. And I have not been in the 12th grade since the early 90s. According to Wikipedia: "Trapped in the Closet" is a song set of 22 chapters released by contemporary R&B singer R. Kelly in 2005 and 2007. It features one melodic theme with varying lyrics, relating an ongoing narrative... The songs tell the story of a one-night stand that sets off a chain of events, which gradually reveals a greater web of lies, sex and deceit." 22 songs. 22.
Characters include, Rufus, Chuck, Big Man, Bishop Craig, Twan, Myrna and Pimp Licious. Closing "cliffhanger" lines include"Now he's at the closet, now he's opening the closet....." (Ch.1) "...Wit a spatula in her hand....like that's gon' do something against them guns........it's Rosie the nosy....neighbor..." (Ch. 7) "Now pause the movie cause what I'm about to say to y'all is so damn twisted, not only is there a man in his cabinet, but the man is a midget! MIDGET! MIDGET! MIDGET!" (Ch 9) "...The midget faints again...While Twan and Sylvester is trippin'...The midget's the baby's daddy; woo." (Ch.12)
Any time I think of it, I am reminded of a hilarious Chris Rock sketch which still gets paraphrase quoted to this day.

"How does this relate to Harry Potter?" You might ask. "Not at all." You may think. "You are wrong!" I say. Back after the release of The Order of The Phoenix, an Atlanta radio station (Q100.5) did a series of Harry Potter summary songs to the tune of this. You know, because Harry Potter himself was trapped in a closet... under the stairs. It's sounds rather ridiculous, but so is the original. The first one is pretty long, but that's because the DJs do a lot of setup beforehand. After that they get shorter. Need a quick way to catch up on 5/7 your Potter before Friday?

Remember all of that lost Potter art I lamented as being lost to dead computers past two posts ago? Well, they were not. They were on the desktop computer. So, I have them. I tried to find a page for the artist (Tehanu), but I cannot. My favorites (just as they were then, are the Snape, Lupin and Lily.) The last one is called Suprise Snog and it was the only other piece of HP fanart I had saved from back then.
