Look... memes. Again.

Memes! But none of the "good grief, why are you typing so much?! People have lives, you know!" question-and-answer variety. Those come later. These are much different and way less wordy. (Mainly because it is freezing in here and my fingers are way too cold for all of that typing.)

I signed up at bean's LJ, and one of the "conditions" was that I had to post it myself. So, I am posting.

"The first five people to respond to this post will get something made by me. It will be about or tailored to those five lucky "victims."

This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:
- I make no guarantees that you will like what I make!
- what I create will be just for you.
- it'll be done this year
- you have no clue what it's going to be. It may be fic. (Probably not though. Like, "probably" meaning "I am 99.9 percent certain it will not be" probably.) It may be poetry. (Hey, I do enjoy a good funny poem.) I may draw or paint something. (Who me? Draw something? Yeah, maybe.) I may bake you something and mail it to you. (What?) Who knows? Not you, that's for sure!
- I reserve the right to do something extremely strange.

Here is one I randomly stumbled across that wins on two levels. I get to pick things and put them together in funny combinations AND it gives me an excuse to not be all, "I want to draw something, but I am terribly slack and lacking inspiration out of ideas!" And unlike Illustration Friday (which I had a good idea for last week and failed to execute), this one has some sort of "it's for someone else" accountability attached. Which reminds me of something else I need to do. Anyway...

1. Comment and I'll pick two of your LJ interests and draw you a picture, using Paint, something or other.
2. You have no say in what I draw you!
3. Put this in your journal. And the pic someone drew for you.

1. Go to the sixth folder where you store your pictures.
2. Find the sixth picture and post it.
3. Explain why you saved it.
4. Tag four others to do the same.

1/2. The picture. It's Colin Farrell, Jonathan Rhys-Meyers and Jared Leto as Alexander The Great, Cassander and Hephaistion in Oliver Stone's "Alexander".

3. Why I saved it. Three reasons. Firstly, I like (most) things Ancient Greek and Roman. (Things I do not like include philosophy, bathing by coating onself in olive oil and having a slave scrape the resultant dirty goo off with a strigil and mathematics.) Second, I like pictures. And thirdly, I draw a lot of things based in ancient times. Since there are not too many people running around these days in togas and cuirasses, I have to rely on pictures. This means I have to have a lot of pictures of ancient Greek and/or Roman things. This includes things from movies about ancient Greece or Rome, both very good (Alexander) and very bad (Troy).

4. Ehh... I'm not much of a tagger. Participate at your own.. what's the opposite of risk?

everything's better with pictures, i should draw more, meme
