I'd say "That's right, another Carlin post!" but since I am late to the party, My post will be at the top, so instead "Look! A George Carlin post!" Here are two of my all-time favorite Carlin moments. One the bit that defines my entire conception of "my house", "your house" and generally "buildings as a whole." (Also "my bag", "pockets" and "anywhere in which you can shove stuff".)What is a building if not a place to house your stuff. Seriously... truer words have never been spoken. The other, the classic exposition on "soft language". Comedy gold!

Random celebrity death fact. Ever since I was a kid (I mean like second grade) I have always been like "I wonder what it will be like when Michael Jackson dies!" Keep in mind, second grade was when Thriller was big, and he had not gone through much of his post-Thriller weirdness. Also keep in mind, I hated Thriller (the album, as well as the song), so I was not buying into all of the hype. TO clarify, it's not like "Oh man! He sucks, and it will be great when he is dead! but more like, "I bet it will be a big spectacle with people crying and going crazy" If I knew then what I know now about celebrity death, I'd say I had some idea that it would be like when John Lennon or Curt Cobain died... you know, big dramatics and such. Why this fascinated me as an eight-year old, I'll never know.
And now for the obligatory "Why not Puff Daddy?!"
