DUDE!!!
Alrighty, so. Thespian Festival sucked royal ass, the only plusses being free food and rooming with a good friend. Oh, that, and seeing the single greatest play I've ever had the honor of seeing, or ever will I imagine.
The skit (it's only about 10 minutes long) is called Do Not Collect $200, and yes, it's a Monopoly referance. Very simple premise; four people sit down and play Monopoly, while, of course, ribbing each other like good gents. Sounds boring. However, the greatness is seen when I tell you who's playing.
James Joyce (probably didn't spell that right....)- Irish author; nominated for Nobel Prize in Literature, but lost out to William Faulkner (though not by much)
Napoleon Bonaparte- French Emperor. Conqured much of Europe during the mid-1800's; noted for being very short: he was called 'The Little General'
Adolf Hitler- German Nazi nationalist. Restored Germany to strength after the Treaty of Versallis; belived in restoring the nation to the leadership of the 'pure Aryan race'.
Vladimir Lenin- Russian revolutionist. Was at the forefront of the October Revolution, which overthrew the Czar and implemented the Leninist government of the USSR. Also the first Premier of the USSR.
A little vauge for them, but I don't have all night.
I apologize about my recent amount of inablity to be reached. Dad's been being an ass, and we're moving, so haven't had much time to be on.
