Slow startup of Windows 7 networking (Wireless)
After booting my Lenovo laptop I had to wait for a while for Firefox and IE to show UI. Wireless networking tray icon showed rotating symbol over it for a few minutes.
To troubleshoot I used Command Prompt:
sc query | findstr /i /c:"PENDING"
It showed that the SybaseControlCenter3.2.7 service was the only one in START_PENDING mode. Once I disabled the service the problem is gone.
The Sybase Control Center service is a part of SAP Sybase Adaptive Server Enterprise 15.7 installation.
