Quick apology
I need to apologize for Guenter Oettinger, the new German European Commissioner and current Minister President of Baden-Württemberg. He has the honor of speaking the worst English I have ever heard in my life.
Oettinger says that English will be the business language (Will be? It is already!) - and that everybody, workers and businessmen, no matter whether they need to read numbers or instructions, they have to be able to understand and speak English. I agree with him on that. Only problem: Mr. Oettinger's English is so bad that, while watching the video, I had to think about the poor translator. I really don't understand what he's saying.
Quick explanation for the German parts of the video: The scene they show over and over again is where he says "English will be the new business language".

I just needed to make clear that Oettinger's, Westerwelle's and Merkel's English are not the standard in Germany. Okay, maybe if you look at kids in 8th grade, but still... This is embarassing.
