crboltz has decided it's time to join the HD revolution, which means the enormously heavy 28" or 30" standard definition television we inherited from a friend who previously joined the HD revolution is now homeless. It's old and takes several minutes to warm up these days (plus, for those who know what this means, the image-safe area has contracted, not that anyone who doesn't work in the television industry would notice) and the remote control is genuinely dead. All that said, it's definitely "better than nothing" so if anyone who reads this (and is in the L.A. area) wants to adopt it, give me a scream. Otherwise, it's going to Goodwill as soon as the new one is installed and confirmed working properly.
