a quickie

So huge drama at work. Store manager was fired because of a "loss prevention issue." He was basically altering his time card and yes i agree stealing time is still stealing but he gets paid salary so its not like he was getting extra pay and stuff. for the most part he usually worked his normal hours but he did cut out early sometimes on days that he shouldnt have. i think maybe they should have looked this over more and handled it differently but whatever. this leads into our store now not having a head manager. we have a manager in training who basically is a nice person but as far as her work ethic and style go she sucks. She is not about the "team" environment that our company pushes. She basically was the one that ratted him out cause she wants the store. during the meeting about loosing our manager she said somethings that were lies about him and everyone got really weird and quiet cause no one knew what to say and so one of the girls said "no i dont think that is true, at least not for us at the associate level, maybe for you but he was always different to us and pushed customer service over any of the stuff you mentioned" and i dont think this manager in training was pleased with that.

Cause of that i think she got singled out and when the DM asked who were weak links she kept pushing for that person to be fired. as of yesterday she was dismissed for the crap reason of them saying that she was giving away merchandise and had been for a long time. they claimed she would scan some things but not all of the purchases and just put stuff in the bags. its BS! i could see her maybe forgetting once or screwing up once but shes been running the register for a while and shes not retarded. why would she give stuff away to random strangers? they said they got her on camera, which they only planted in the store 3 weeks ago. she asked to see the footage and they refused to show her so i dont believe they really saw that and neither does she.

this was the last straw for whats left of the staff and we called the DM and told him that if the manager in training was given the store that we would leave. he had asked our assistant coaches about her performance and they all told the DM she isnt ready for the store and i dont think he really listened to them. He claimed they didnt know what they were going to do and that they still had time etc etc. i just told him that i know its just a rumor but if the rumor were to become true that we WOULD leave. i think maybe hes starting to second guess this descion cause he talked to the manager on duty last night for a while after me and he wants to talk to more people at the store now. something that was going to end today has not been pushed back so hopefully something else happens. wow this was longer than i expected.
