Memorial

I have a Memorial Tribute for you all.

Mitch Hedburg died last week at the age of 37. He was one of the most brilliant stand-up comics on Earth. He stood up (or sat down), letting his long hair cover his sunglass-shaded eyes and dropped some of the most brilliant one-liners anyone has ever heard. Even though he didn't see the audience, he had a wonderful connection with them. He felt them. He will be severely missed by me and a lot of his fellow comedians. I wish I could have met him at one point in my life.

Here's a few samples of his work:

"I think Pringles was originally meant to be a tennis ball company, but one day instead of tennis balls, they got potatoes. Not being ones to give up or complain, they said, 'Fuck it. Start cuttin!'"

"I think foosball is an interesting mix between soccer and shish-kabob."

Here's his websites, on the Archives page. Funny stuff there.
