The very idea of there being a "Hastings Week" fills me with joy.

And I like that piece a lot. What medium/media is it?

:) yeah Hastings week is pretty cool. Shame it's held when the weather is typically bad.

The image is a photo montage. There's about 12 photos pasted together (photoshop magic).. Basically it's the only way you can get a full front view of the huts as there's a fishermans boat right by it.

Is the week meant to correspond with the anniversary of the battle, or is it just... a week of Hastings?

I thought it looked like such. It's quite beautiful. Are they actually multi-storied like that, or is that also Photoshop magic?

Yeah it's an anniversary of the battle - 941st. The 1000th should be a blast. I go back on the 'it's a shame it's held when the weather is bad' quote. excuse my ignorance. Anyway more onfo can be found below

Sweet. I think I'm going to put #950 on my calendar, just to make sure I'm there... 9 years from now. And I think I'll aim to be there in 59 years, as well.
