Busy Busy Busy
Last weekend, the Friday after Thanksgiving, Davey, James and I drove to Portland for the night to hang out, shop, etc. We had the honor of having macmanchad in our company. He met us at a Cuban restaurant, Pambiche, and we had some tostones, frijoles negros, and other delicacies. Afterwards we hit a few bars. Someone I chatted with on gay.com met us out as well. Chad very stragetically took Davey and James with him to a hot tub party out in East Portland, allowing me to invite my new friend back to the hotel room. :-D

This week I flew to Boise for work, for the 4th time this year. It snowed the day I arrived, and on Wednesday morning I had to scrape all the ice and snow off of the windows of the car. The rental didn't have electric windows or locks, or any other modern convenience, so I won't be renting from Thrifty again. Anyhoo, Boise was OK. The rest of the time the weather remained dry, though under 40 degrees.
Tonight is Dina Martina! at Rebar. Five of us are going, and I'm sure it'll be a hoot. No other plans for tonight, except I'm supposed to be on the phone right now with Harvey to make dinner plans.
There is a sneak preview of the Golden Compass tomorrow night. Dustin and I are going to have dinner at 4:30, then head to the theater to see it. I bought tix on the way home tonight, so now we don't have to see it next Saturday after I return from Vegas. ($10.25 for a movie now!??!!).
No other plans for Saturday, except to go to the gym sometime in the late morning or early afternoon.
The Seahawks game is at 10am on Sunday, so that will keep me busy for 3 hours that morning. The massage appointment I had made for 6pm Saturday has now been changed to 6pm Sunday, because of the movie. Sounds like I'll be keeping myself busy (and out of trouble) this weekend.
On Tuesday evening I fly to Vegas for the annual Expedia partner conference and holiday party. This year the party will be held on Thursday at Pure, instead of Friday at the Hard Rock. I'm staying with Brett, a FB who moved to Vegas a few months ago, on Tuesday, then at the MGM on Wed and Thurs nights. On Thursday, Harvey and Davey are joining me, and on Friday we'll move to the Excalibur for one evening. It should be a fun week, and someone told me the casinos in Vegas all went non-smoking. I'll believe it when I see it.
OK, time to call Harvey about dinner, then go see Dina.
I just found this old clip of Dina Martina on youtube. It looks like some talk show with Dan Savage (and a drag queen that looks like Davey's friend Ryan). Dina is actually thin, and doesn't look like a bad looking guy.
