Well, things have happened in the last few months.
However, i just finished watching "Sweet and Lowdown." I have forgotten how much I like that movie. Emmett Ray is such a perfect character. A quarter of the movie, when Emmett is with Blanche, she is asking all of these questions for a book or an article or whatever she intends to publish about him, and she asks all of the same questions I would want to know about this character. What goes through his mind as he plays? What is it he sees in a train? Why does he keep the emotions from coming out, in his music or otherwise? It is truly a great movie.
