I'm steering SPIRIT 04, it should be amazing.
In English the other day, Sheerin brought up how she didn't like the Midwest. I wrote about this topic exactly on Sep 5 in this journal, and if I knew how to link you I would... but you're just gonna have to find it yourself, if you're that interested. Ahh I bitched to JT today about stuff, I feel so... needy. For like 5 minutes I couldn't stop complaining about that woman and her ridiculous "policies", if I may. I never complain.... sorry JT if you're reading this
I realized that I give pity laughs. I really shouldn't, because I hate when people aren't funny. Honestly. This could sound rude, but I hate when people make shit jokes or just have a bad sense of humor... It pisses me off so fucking much. You may not think I'm the funniest person you know but I know I at least have a good sense of humor. (speaking of sense of humor... actually i'll save that for another entry). Anyway, I'm going to stop the pity laughs because after someone makes a really bad joke or stupid remark they deserve an unpleasant silence.
And now a quote from America (The Book):
The Legend:
Paul Revere rides through the streets of Boston shouting, "The British are coming! The British are coming!"
What really happened:
Historians say Revere would not have been yelling, "The British are coming," since at the time most colonists still thought of themselves as British. His actual cry was, "I say, representatives of the King's army will be arriving on our shores to do most grievous harm to us, their fellow subjects under the crown...so be mindful and watchful on this night!" Over the course of his 12-mile gallop he managed to complete the phrase three times.
The Legend:
John Hancock signed the Declaration of Independence extra-large because he wanted "to be sure King George could read it!"
What really happened:
John Hancock was 23 feet tall and merely signed in his normal fashion.

Were you aware?
Before 1920, women used to call Election Day "Stay Home and Cook Day"
comment- what are your feelings on pity laughs? Or am (are) I (you) not funny enough to touch upon this subject?
