What a night. Hung out and did the street sign project with meltzer and kerner on livingston ave.. then we went to a meeting of some sort. i feel like i've betrayed my favorite organization, but hell, there was free pizza. Anyway, I should be doing work, but I feel like doing that playlist thing, so what the flip. Okay, so you get your comp's playlist and then keep hitting shuffle, and record each and every song that comes up. I'll be honest as hell here, kids. It might reveal every guilty pop pleasure I have on this computer, but I'm ready for it. Here we gooo. (ooh and i'll add commentary) But I'm skipping repeat artists because my computer has a tendency to do the same artist over and over again.

Origin: starting off with some Bowie- Space Oddity because of some comments made tonight. "Who's he?" "David Bowie." "Oh...... who's that?" Anyway, it's a great song.

1) Pink Floyd - Welcome to the Machine ... not my favorite pf song, but it'll do.

2)Coheed & Cambria - The Velorium Camper I: Faint O (?) I'm not even sure if that's the actual title, but it's a decent song.

3)Counting Crows/Tom Petty/Weezer - Round Here... good song.

4)Miranda - Vamos a la Playa .... okay this definitely needs an explanation. It was an old camp song, kind of. Just like one of the first songs they played on the video deb year. Crazy Spanish Miranda talking about dancing on the beach :)

5)Rush - Closer To The Heart... well one of my LJ friends actually introduced me to Rush, so I'm new to the whole idea. I like Geddie's voice a lot, just because it's so extremely, uh, abstract. This is an okay song.

6) Gary Jules - Mad World ... tears for fears cover, tff much better lol

7) Pocketwatch - Friend of a Friend.... shit thats early Grohl stuff

8) Led Zeppelin - Ramble On... how can you go wrong?

9) Queen - Fat Bottomed Girls... freddie <3 brian <3 roger <3

10) Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers - American Girl... alright I guess. I don't know how this song came about, I'm not really a Petty fan, but it's coo, it's coo.

11) Soul Decision - Faded... oh lord, 5th grade has come back to haunt me.

12) Four Seasons - December '63... sweeet

13) James Brown - It's too funky in here... damn straight. i'm lovin the jbrown

14) Blues Traveler - Hook

15) DMB - Love of my life (acoustic)... not loving this song, but the band is usually pretty good

16) CSNY - Wooden Ships... good stuff. a little too mellow for me though. "If you smile at me I will understand..."

17) Fats Domino - I'm Walking... haha yes I've been experimenting with different styles of music lately :)

18) Ace Of Base - It's a Beautiful Life... can you say classic?

19) Gin Blossoms - Hey Jealousy... this song's always good.

20) Sublime - Crazy Fool.... this band is orgasmic.

21) Ryan Cabrera - On The Way DOwn... I told you I'd be honest... hahah theres something about this song that I like, and also the guitar solo makes me laugh soo hard (its 3 notes).

22) UB40 - Fools Rush In... i love this song

23) John Lennon - Stand By Me... this song makes me cry, well when I'm in the mood to cry. Or maybe I just listen to it while I'm already crying.

24) Coldplay - Spies... i really dislike this song, he goes a bit too high for my standards. sorry chris. AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST, or so I think...

25) Everclear - Amphetamine... I guess it's an okay song. Good for working out... actually I work out to Teen Spirit religiously... i swear, if you're running or on a bike or something, and you just go faster when dave starts to really rock in the chorus, it will be the best workout of your life. lol

well that was fun and time-consuming. a lot of my favorite artists didn't come up though. i'll go onto finishing my homework. later... comment it upp
