Several people have made joking or half-joking comments about pain or damage to their eyes; I'd like to hear more about that. Can y'all elaborate on what about this you find painful or unpleasant? This is a serious question; I'm interested in learning why this kind of picture gets this kind of reaction, 'cause I don't really understand it.

(Jim and others who posed for this: Awesome as always! You're doing great work; keep it up. I hope my question here isn't too derailing; I think the answers will probably turn out to be relevant to the work you're doing, but I'm not sure yet.)
