Goblin Tales, Coming March 15 (I Hope!)

I’ve tentatively scheduled Goblin Tales for a March 15 release.  Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be a way for me to set a future publication date via Amazon or B&N.  You click the button to put it on sale, and some time over the next few days, they get it posted.  So it might be more accurate to say the book will be out March 15, give or take ( Read more... )

Sadly, unless you're JA Konrath, there's no way to do pre-orders on Kindle, nope.

The good news is, it takes almost exactly 12 hours, in my experience, to get a book up on Kindle once you hit submit, so I'd recommend hitting the button at, say, 10am on March 14 - it should go up for sale at some point on March 15, then.

In the future, if you want to try out other ways of making an eBook, may I suggest the Atlantis word processor? As a professional designer, used to using Quark Xpress or InDesign, I never ever thought I'd hear myself say this about a word processor, but...oh my god, I love it. It makes eBooks so damn EASY, and it generates gorgeously clean code that passes ePubCheck and preflight every damn time. It's easier and faster than InDesign, and creates cleaner code, too. I'm in love.

I need to work on my windows for review copies. I'm ATROCIOUS about getting stuff out in advance.

It's really annoying until you figure out how to turn off some of the sound effects, but once you do that, my god, the program is like magic.

It's 30-day shareware and $35 after that, and worth every penny. Gorgeously clean ePub exports in a few clicks. Oh, what beauty.
