Goblin Tales, Coming March 15 (I Hope!)

I’ve tentatively scheduled Goblin Tales for a March 15 release.  Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be a way for me to set a future publication date via Amazon or B&N.  You click the button to put it on sale, and some time over the next few days, they get it posted.  So it might be more accurate to say the book will be out March 15, give or take ( Read more... )

For readers unfamiliar with the Goblin books, would you recommend starting with Goblin Tales or with the first novel?

Good question. Hm ... I'm honestly not sure. I'd probably say neither, and instead send you to www.jimchines.com I've got several goblin stories linked in the left sidebar under "Free Fiction," which would let you check them out without even the $2.99 for the e-book. (The e-book will include those stories and several others.)

Aside from that, I think either would work as an effective Intro to Goblins. So it really comes down to whether you prefer short fiction or novels.

How's that for an unhelpful answer?

Knowing that it doesn't matter is certainly useful information to have. :)
