Eight Days a Week of Just Making That Up 2

We had Session Four of Polaris Tuesday night and it was pretty successful. It seems like this session was particularly heavy on the freeplay, though I did win a duel-to-the-death with an enemy Knight, and K. and I got some ways toward marrying off a couple of our Knight's relations. My Knight still faces the problem of having a demon sword he can only destroy by spilling the blood of a loved one, and having fallen out of love with everybody in the meantime. On the bright side, he's now eligible to die, having become a veteran.

Meanwhile, I think I've finally come to grips with the fact that N. is going to fight his Knight's corruption every step of the way and started to adapt my adversity-production appropriately to that stance. It makes it harder for his Knight to reach the endgame and it threw me at first. The rest of us are sort of playing Tetris with our Knights - accepting the fall and angling for the slot we want to land in. N.'s approach is more Space Invaders: he's going to blow away all the Doom he can until it overwhelms him. That means my early approach, which amounted to providing gravity, won't do the job. To help him get his Knight to the endgame I need to send in the bugs.
