I know this will affect none of you, because you are all smarter than this, but here is my rant for today.
Dear people of earth,
I know you just got a new digital camera for christmas, and it's super wicked cool and takes fantastic 25 megapixel pictures. But dear god, learn a little something about resolutions and file sizes. The 4 Megabyte, 4000x3000 very lightly (if any) compressed JPEG file that you download from your camera is NOT SUITABLE for email and web use!
There's thousands of way to resize your pictures down to a more friendly size. My favorite is a command line tool called imagemagick, but you may have better luck using that mouse thingy.
Remember, a computer monitor can only show 72 DPI, so having giant pictures that don't even fit on my screen is pointless anyway!
