time for a real entry
As the last 2 entries would indicate, I had/sorta still have this nasty cold bug that has been extremely stubborn when it comes to getting out of my system. I took 3 different kinds of medicine for it and I can't tell you how much OJ and water I'd comsumed. I think I've drank more liquids this month than any other month of my life. Also when I went to the doctors, he mentioned my blood pressure being really high. He said it was most likely due to the advil I was taking which naturally increases the pressure of the blood, but in reality, I have been working a stress ridden job, dealt with a lot of anger towards the boss and coworkers, and have always had a high salt diet. Whatever it is, I'm becoming more aware of it and am driven to change it.
Moving on, I got to meet Erin's family! It was her sister Meghan's graduation party and I have humbly invited to attend and stay over 2 nights. It was nice. Most of all, any time I get to see Erin is a nice time. So yeah. :) I can say that I had an interesting experience with the family. No one struck a bad chord with me and I held some kind of conversation with most of them. I guess that's a start. Oh yeah, Meghan will never let up on a certain embarrassing moment of mine where I read one of those 3D signs of a restaurant on Roosevelt Blvd. I come in out of no where(as usual) and randomly say "ooooh, the lonch horn restaurant". After the biggest awkward silence of my life I realized that the place was called "Longhorn". Now Meghan thinks her sister is in a relationship with someone who should be hooked on phonics. Aren't 1st impressions lovely? ha
Anyways, if you couldn't tell already by me being offline most of the time and me not being home, I've been working like crazy. The weeks prior to Memorial Day weekend were crazy. Crazy hours I tell ya. Right now things are slowing down and work is ending approximately 6 every night instead of 9 which is cool. I think working all those hours was definitely the reason why the cold wouldn't leave my system.
Oh shit, time for work. Oh man, today we unload "brazil chairs" off a truck. If none of you know what I am talking about(which is probably the case), there are 2 kinds of brazil chairs, 5-position beach recliners, and 2-position beach recliners that, when packaged 6 in each box, weight 50 lbs and 80 lbs respectively per box. There's about 200 of these bad boys coming off the truck. 3-4 guys working on the unloading process(including ME). How fun. lol Alright, time to go. Hope all of your summer's are going awesome so far. Au revoir.
