pray for nick
today i heard some pretty sad news. nick tong is in the hospital i guess, with some rare kind of vein disease. i guess he's really not doing very well at all. right now he's at south macomb hospital, but is hoping to get moved to u of m hospital. it's really serious, which has me really worried. so if everyone could keep nick in their prayers, i'm sure his family would appreciate it.
nick played trombone with me in high school, though he was a year older than me. in middle school i always looked up to him: how he played his trombone, and how he carried himself. then in high school i got to be in marching band and eventually band class with him. he always made me feel accepted, and good about myself, especially in 9th grade, when i didn't know what to expect. now in his time of need, i'd really like to be there for him. for those of you that don't know nick, he and i were never great friends, but i don't think he really had too many enemies. he's known as a good guy, and is easy to get along with.
on a lighter note, kerri's a big harry potter fan, so we're gonna try and get tickets to see that tomorrow. so that should be fun!
