coming home

I called up my counterpart, James, at Romano's Macaroni Grill about returning there to work for the month of April. 2 weeks. 2 weeks and I'm out of Pittsburgh and I never plan to live here again. None of the jobs I've been gunning for have panned out. Rich's wife Cassandra is trying to work something out for me for the next couple weeks, so I SHOULD be able to bring in a couple hundred dollars if she does me this favor, but I'm not planning around it.

I talked to my law school buddy, Mouth, today about the electric bill. As a result of our conversation I am going to go downtown tomorrow and pay my electicity for the months September through March. It's a fun story- ask me about it.

I am going to rely on my parents for getting the rent done this month, and when I go home I'm going to give them most of the proceeds from my job waiting tables once I get enough money for the move to Baltimore. Hopefully that will be fast.

The schedule should be done the DAY I get home, so I will go in and get on the wait-staff as soon as I've had myself a bite to eat so that I can sign up for shifts. I will be picking up shifts like a demon.

Determination. I want to be comfortable again; financially secure. And if I have to go to every damn restaurent at the Harbor to get the best damn job I can I will. I'm hitting the best ones first. And I am definitely going to the bar before I leave to make sure they will give me a good recommendation.
