Where'd everybody go?
Incidentally, I had been feeling guilty for not keeping up with my LJ friends page better, but I look at it these days and it seems like most of my friends have drifted away from using LJ much any more. That's a pity. This seemed like such a nice way to keep in touch with people over long distance.
Well, that being said, I suppose it's incumbent upon me to write something. Well, let's see. I finished my novel I was writing! Really! It took about two years, and I finished it in November. A writer friend was kind enough to refer it to his agent, so I'm waiting to hear back. I'm told I should expect a few months' turnaround time before I hear back, so... well, wish me luck.
My endless rent job finally ended with the closing of my book store In January. Now I work at a new, unrelated, independent book store. So, um, yay? (Yes I know I moved out here to be an animator. Shuddup.) Of course, in this economy I'm grateful for any job.
The webcomic continues as it has been. I hope y'all are taking a look at it now and again. I'm pretty pleased with the artwork lately.
I joined the YMCA and am going to the gym to lose weight and stuff.
And I guess that's about it.
