Well, next year I absolutely have to be better organized about this trip. It looks like it is going to be just hideously expensive, and all because I left things to the last minute.
So... If I'm to do this again next year, I must...
Get a new credit card that accumulates frequent flier miles at a decent rate. Should have done that last year.
Pre-Reg for Otakon as soon as the dates are announced. Plaster those dates all over my calendar. Request the time off from work months in advance.
And... Oh, I suppose that apart from trying to make lots of money in the coming year, that's about it.
Still... Ultimately, I can't complain about how things panned out. Because I found out that my step-grandmother Mary, up in the Plymouth Meeting area, is ill. I must visit her. Therefore, I am very glad that I ended up with my schedule such that I will be in the Plymouth Meeting area to do that. Providence in action, I suppose. Oh....
