"Am I a villain? Who calls me coward?"--The Tragedy of Hamlet
"I know not why I am so sad."--The Merchant of Venice
A theatre student adds these two together, realizes he's deathly afraid of what others think of him (to am extent where regret, embarassment, and pain result from the fear), and wants to change his ways.
He's working on it. He'll simplify his life now that his run crew is over. He can focus on schoolwork, relationships, and personal well-being. He'll appreciate the small things in the big picture while he figures things out.
He'll keep things simple. He's directing "Compleat Wrks of Willm Shkspr (Abridged)" next year.
He's trying. It may seem otherwise sometimes and though he may slip, he's trying.
"What should such fellows as I do crawling between earth and heaven?"--Hamlet
He'll let you know when he figures it out.
