Christmas Dinner #1
First holiday thing with the family was last night for us. My aunt & uncle and their 2 kids (13 and 10, I think) and my parents came to our house for a Polish chowdown. Pierogi (meat, cheese, or potato), fresh kielbasa, city chicken (from my aunt) made for a filling and gut-wrenching meal. Man did it taste good though - the house still has a bit of a sausage smell lingering. Yum!
This was the first time we really had more than a few people over for dinner - worked well even with our little house. There was room for us all at the dining room table, and the cooking went smooth as glass. Success!
Add this on top of a fun visit with Jamie and Em in NYC, and the Hurstareaux's Holiday Xtravaganza, and a great weekend is on the books.
