(no subject)
So I really haven't been in a posting mood of late. Though in the summer I usually end up in the non-posting rut sometime. Lets see, I got my car back from paint. They did a fantastic job on the bumpers and im quite happy. But when they took the wing off it was starting to rust(and hollow out) so they didn't repair that or put it back on for that matter. I was kind of pissed about that. Upon later inspection I notice they cracked the wing in two places and snapped a bolt off which would explain why they didn't feel like putting it back on. So my dad went down there on Monday and told them about it. Since they screwed up im getting a brand new wing, painted , and put back on the car for 150Bucks. The 150 is for the cost of the wing. So im saving around 400 - 500 bucks of labor costs and shipping. They are currently searching around now for a wing then they are giving me a call when they have it. Now it’s a waiting game again.
Currently Work is pretty boring, that is mostly attributed to the thesis term. Since I really don’t work on any other projects besides that it can get quite boring. I wrote the introduction chapter to my thesis but im kind of stuck on what to do for my next chapter. I must say this summer has been flying by and school is very close again. I'm kind of excited to get back to school because that means im just that much closer to graduation in June.
The firehawk still hasn't sold yet. The current price is 9500. I get so many calls but people have don’t have a clue what a firehawk and what its worth. Its hard to sell a unique car to un-informed people. O-well.
In the girl friend front things are going very well. Actually it’s the best part of my life right now. No matter how shitty it gets I always smile when I think about Sue. Sue is coming to GR this weekend and not entirely sure what were going to do yet. Living across the state is pretty hard thing to do. One bonus of going back to flint is im only an hour away from Sue which is very nice.
The number one thing im looking forward to at school is the paved road in front of kettering. I've only been waiting 4 years for that. That road has been hell for my suspension on my cars. Now if they could only do Chevy...
