I've got this wicked wicked urge to play in so many D&D campaigns. Because I'm not just looking for EVIL anymore, going through all these books looking for ideas that character has me wanting to play all these others. Among them

Tom Sawyer would be a high wis, low int character.
How do you think he got all of those kids to whitewash the fence for him? With his amazing vocabulary? By astounding them with his fabulous array of scientific and historical knowledge? It was a sense motive check, yo, followed by an excellent bluff roll.
Isn't bluff Charisma based? Even if it isn't, I still think he got himself out of more trouble with his "boyish charm" than his wits. Point taken though. Still, Low wisdom is where I want to go with the character. Kind of a "We need a plan? why? Rush in, kill the bad guys, don't die. Sounds good to me."
Intelligence is the ability to collect and store knowledge.
Wisdom is being able to see the intricant weave of a situation, both in a social aspect (take for example, the massive plots of the drow) and the physical one (spot checks, listen checks, a general sense of awareness).
No, I know the difference. But I don't think Wisdom is a "doing" skill in the slightest. I think a high wisdom low intelligence character would know enough to know that you NEED a plan, but not be able to come up with one.

Int = planning, thinking
Wis = awareness of one's surroundings, doing
It sounds like you want to make a char with low int. Wisdom will determine whether or not he makes it out of the above situation.
