Karaoke King?
So I'm getting to do something new and exciting. Get this, a radio station here in LA, KBIG, is sponsoring an 80's concert at the Hollywood Bowl. As part of the concert they are having an 80's karaoke challenge. Next Thursday, Sept. 14 I will be one of ten people trying for a spot to sing at the Hollywood Bowl on Sept. 23. If I am successful I will compete against the winner from Sept. 21. Audience applause will decide the winner on the 23rd. Even if I don't get chosen as the one to compete on the 23rd, I'll still get a pair of tickets for the show on the 23rd so that will be cool. Now I'm just wondering if the auditions on the 14th will actually be broadcast on the air? And I don't even get to choose what song I will sing, as I understand it, the song choice is between me and KBIG. Anybody have any ideas of 80's songs for me? I'm guessing they will have some kind of book for me to choose from. This should be fun!
