Hair Cut, LA and heat
Everyone seems to like my new shorter hair cut. Now that I am older I'm supposed to look younger. I used to want to look older since in the past I looked about ten years younger than the calendar knew for real. Old friend Jeri told me I was one of those that looked nerdy when young and now look amazingly handsome. All I know is that I do photograph better. Whatever, it stays out of my eyes and is cooler.
Los Angeles. Can't live there like that anymore. Freeways over crowded. Even when open it takes for ever to get from one end of town to the other. And the price of gas there, yikes. I don't have the funds to buy a hideaway there, or the skills to have a work at home income. I think I am wed to Austin until death do us part.
117º in the London Underground yesterday. Europe frying. Working in my 90º studio. Yesterday at the aquatic center there was two water cannons spraying pools water high in the air, that showered down on a closed lane. It did cool the water down. Some.
