My entire life is a formative experience.
...a year ago, I was a totally different person. Looking back, I think I was genuinely crazy. I have the feeling I'll be saying the same thing a year from now.
April is when I become incredibly creative and entirely nocturnal. The work is good. For that reason, I'll accept the insanity.
My screenplay is very, very good. It's called "Void and Shadow". It's a character-driven neo-noir action thriller with allusions to all kinds of things I find cool, including Se7en, Dante's Inferno, redvsblue, Pulp Fiction, alchemy, and the works of Joseph Campbell. I'm on page 37. I go through a new draft a day. Here's the last line I have:
"The screams persist, and darkness takes him."
Creepy.
On a side not, I gotta tell ya: the world, for better or worse, is a truly amazing place.
