It rained last night !
Yeah, strange days when a rain is that big of a deal, but last night was a pretty sweet rain. Some areas on the outskirts of town really got washed out. We certainly needed it.
Well, after watching most of the season of The Glass House I guess it is "okay". I liked the general concept and the competitions... and as always liked seeing people go through the bitter and petty stuff. Sadly the one thing I did not really get into was the stuff that many people probably liked best... the "make them talk like pirates" or "wear slippers" or "walk backwards" stuff. I found it not only boring in concept, but in execution. It added nothing and took away from time they could show people either getting nasty and snarky, or, sometimes even better, getting drunk and stupid.
I am definitely enjoying Big Brother this season, but that is not much of a surprise. Even when it is not the greatest of seasons it is still an addiction and I still jump in with both feet. I really have no clue who to root for... I find myself rooting for whatever will bring the most mayhem. I had picked Ashley first episode out of a total random need to pick someone, but have trouble seeing her getting jury votes
Love Christine on Master Chef so much that I have trouble expressing it. Cooks circles around everyone. I am really rooting for her to win it all... but somehow suspect Josh might.
Not much else happening. After watching the incident with Jeff Gordon and Dale Jr. I am starting to think Jeff either needs to retire or to be on a team in which he is the only driver. He seems to always have the most issues with teammates, and the Junior incident did not seem that bad to me. I know it must be a much different view from inside the car, but, damn Big Daddy... Junior wants to win too, teammate or not.
